This is not my dog. He just wanted to get in the picture with me. He was a very strong little powerful dog. Climbs up the Hudson Highlands regularly with his owner.

The Hudson Highlands!

I met up with some of my family in New York City over Memorial Day weekend. This was my 5th time to the city and was excited to do something a little different like actually leaving the city and visiting some of the country side. My cousin Spencer, the tour guide, decided to take us on a day hike through The Hudson Highlands Breakneck Ridge Trail. It is the highest point and the greatest view of the Hudson River Valley. It was hard to believe that the hike was only a half mile long but the incline was so steep it took us practically all day to climb up. This was not just an average day hike this was a rock climbing adventure. This was probably the most intense hike I had ever done but it was worth it!!

Staying with my cousin Spencer and his wife Jesse for the weekend. I just love their apartment! Unfortunately they live in a building on the fifth floor with no elevator. But I just fell in love with there apartment. I wish I had taken more photos of it!

Tagged along on a road trip to Chicago this past weekend riding hump with four other good guy friends. We were traveling to celebrate our friend Brad Kleinman's 30th birthday celebration. Even though I was only in Chicago for a short amount of time I immediately fell in love with the city. I wish I visited this place right after college! I got to see one of my good friends Zack Fagin that I had not seen since our college Graduation almost two years ago. I loved Lincoln Park, Millenium Park, and all the outdoor activity that was always going on along side the lake. I wish Cleveland had all that great access to the lake fronts. I wanted to post some of my favorite pics from the trip and will have more to come.

Its been a crazy couple of months!

It has been awhile since I have blogged because these past couple of months have been crazy. Good Crazy!! This past February I was offered a position as a photographer for the best greeting card company in the world, American Greetings. Best day of my life! I also recently moved to Lakewood, Ohio where there is a lot of outdoor activity going on all the time. People walking dogs, running and biking everywhere. I am excited for this summer to bike, kayak, and travel all while taking many photographs. This summer I have already been to Pittsburgh and Chicago and am planning on going to New York City, Tennessee, and Des Moines for the Iowa State Fair! Stay posted for new pictures coming soon!

A Windy day back in fall of 2008

I found this self-portrait today from when my college friend Malaney and I decided to go venture out on a very windy day in Columbus, Ohio and take photographs in a nearby open field. Remember the week of our first semester year that all of Columbus had a power outage and we did not have to go to school for a week. That is the time period this photograph is from. This photograph is dedicated to all the friends I made in college. I miss you guys!
